Jeni is an accomplished and respected Certified Meeting Professional with substantial achievement in leading major conferences, meetings and events from initial planning phases through successful event conclusions. With over 15 years of industry experience, Jeni has produced successful domestic and international events including executive level corporate conferences, annual meetings, user conferences, trade shows, workshops, sales meetings and special events. She has also played an integral role in the inception and execution of many high-level executive events and has successfully produced several large music festivals.

Prior to starting ROAR Design & Events with her husband John, Jeni held management positions at event planning companies and hotels, giving her an edge up in the industry with experience as both a planner and a supplier.

She is a San Francisco Bay area native and holds a BA in Communications from California State University, Chico and a CMP certification from the Convention Industry Council.

John is an accomplished and recognized Art Director / Senior Graphic Designer with over seventeen years of experience working in collaborative team environments in-house and as a freelance graphic communications partner for reputable, well-known brands.

He has demonstrated expertise of design theory, typography, color theory, grid based design, UI and Usability, production processes and maintaining brand integrity — for PRINT design [ logos, sales collateral, direct mail, publications, advertisements, signage, promotions ], INTERACTIVE design [ website design / development, splash pages, html emails, online advertisments ], PRESENTATIONS [ PowerPoint, Flash ], and experienced at executing Social Media marketing campaigns. John is proficient in Adobe CS [ Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Acrobat ] MS Office, XHTML and CSS, with working knowledge of ActionScript and JavaScript. Proven leadership capabilities with internal and external clients and in the management of staff. He's adept at managing a highvolume workflow, budgets and at creating revenue generating initiatives.

Prior to ROAR, John was Art Director/Senior Graphic Designer for the San Francisco Giants, where he worked for ten seasons. He was responsible for creating a fresh look for all annual work, such as designing the new seasonal identity and implementing strategies for all advertising materials. John has excellent skills at effectively communicating across disciplines. From consumer to sponsorship marketing, and ticket to retail sales, John performed at a high level and was well respected by his peers.

John attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Platt College in San Diego. He is a member of the Graphic Artists Guild (NorCal chapter). He is a Bay Area native, now living and working in San Francisco.
